Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Eligibility

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all subscriptions and payments made for Indian Cases AI, a product of Whiteband AI Technologies Private Limited.

Indian Cases AI is a cloud-based legal research platform providing immediate access to digital content, AI-assisted legal research, and related services. Since access is granted instantly upon activation, subscriptions are generally non-refundable except in the limited circumstances set out below. This approach is common for SaaS and digital subscription services.

2. Subscription Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting our support team.
• Cancellation prevents automatic renewal of your subscription.
• Your access will continue until the end of your current subscription period.
• No partial or prorated refund will be issued for any unused portion of the subscription.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered in the following situations:

• Duplicate Payment: You were charged more than once for the same subscription.
• Technical Error: Your payment was successfully processed, but your subscription could not be activated due to a verified technical issue that cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
• Unauthorized Transaction: Subject to verification and applicable payment gateway procedures.
• Legal Requirement: Where a refund is required under applicable law.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted for:

• Change of mind after purchase.
• Failure to use the subscription.
• Lack of familiarity with platform features.
• Dissatisfaction with search results, AI-generated responses, or research outcomes.
• Purchase of an incorrect subscription plan by the user.
• Cancellation after activation of the subscription.
• Suspension or termination of an account due to violation of the Terms of Use.

5. Trial Period

Where a free trial is offered, users are encouraged to evaluate the platform during the trial period before purchasing a paid subscription. Once a paid subscription is activated, it is governed by this Refund Policy.

6. Refund Request Procedure

To request an eligible refund, please contact our support team within 7 days of the transaction with:

• Registered email address
• Transaction ID
• Date and amount of payment
• Brief description of the issue
• Supporting documents or screenshots, if applicable

7. Refund Processing

If a refund request is approved:

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
• Processing will generally take 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider or bank.

8. Payment Gateway Charges

Where applicable, payment gateway charges, taxes, or other third-party processing fees that are non-recoverable may be deducted from the refund amount, unless the refund results from an error attributable to Indian Cases AI.
